Alejandro Esbozos, Blocdeesbozos, wrote a customer story
Hello everyone! Alejandro Esbozos is my name. I am Spanish and run Blocdeesbozos Marketing Consulting Company. ActiveCollab is a proud customer. ActiveCollab has greatly improved my company’s communication and collaboration. ActiveCollab allows me to collaborate on many different projects, such as graphic design, SEO, and social media. ActiveCollab is my CRM system for managing customers and prospects. I am also a sales manager. I tried a lot of them and settled on one. However, ActiveCollab is the only tool I use in my company. I don’t want to make them switch to another tool. I tried the CRM tool by itself, but without data, it was useless. Data comes from people. The CRM I had was ineffective. I wondered if ActiveCollab could be used as an alternative. What services do I need from a CRM tool to succeed?
A CRM tool should have three main features: Phone call tracking
In-depth contact information (relatives, hobbies…)
Tracking sales funnels
ActiveCollab makes it impossible to do the first. At least not automatically. You can create tasks within projects and add information to the task discussion area. This is not a “phone call tracking device”. It doesn’t matter. I found one phone-call tracking software, but it was too costly. So I decided that I could live without this feature. ActiveCollab doesn’t offer this feature. It’s not necessary. You can access all these things via Gmail or contact.google.com if you use Gmail. You can add emails, telephone numbers and information about the company to contact.google.com. If you use Android, all of this information will be available on your Android device before you make a phone call. Let’s now focus on the third point, tracking sales funnels. ActiveCollab could I track my sales funnel? ActiveCollab can track your sales funnel. Here’s how.
A sales funnel, also known as a purchase funnel is a visual representation for customer journey. A typical sales funnel has four phases: awareness and interest, decision, action, and rejection. My sales funnel is structured differently. It includes six phases, depending on when I get the budget. Lead, Contact, Delivered and Second Meeting. Accepted and Rejected. This funnel is created in ActiveCollab using Kanban Methodology. I have a project called Sales and there I have 6 task lists that function like Kanban columns. When someone is interested in working with my company, I create an task in the Lead task listing
I move the task to Contact after the first meeting or phone call.
I send the message and forward the task to Delivered
After a week, I call the prospect to try to get another meeting. Once it’s scheduled, I move the task to the Second Meeting.
Depending on the outcome, the task is either accepted or rejected.
It takes about a week for a task to go from Lead status to Delivered. Then it takes another week to reach Accepted or Rejected status. ActiveCollab Task Reminders are very useful to remind you when you need to call someone. ActiveCollab labels allow me to know how warm the lead feels. ActiveCollab is also helpful in my presale. Here’s how. Presales ActiveCollab Project to networking
My memory is a problem when I am networking. I can’t remember where and when I met someone, their work address, or the names of their spouse. I also forget how many times I talked to them. From unknown to l
